Privacy Policy
The short version
I respect your privacy. This site collects the minimum needed to run a membership: an email to sign you in and send you what you asked for, and a billing record if you pay. I don't sell your information, I don't track you across the web, and I don't use dark patterns to get more than you want to share.
Who is responsible for your data
bulaev.ai is operated by She Just Works LLC, 8130 Glades Rd #526, Boca Raton, FL 33434, United States. That company decides what is collected and why, so it is the controller of everything described below, and it is who you ask when you want something about your data changed. Serge runs the site and is the person who will actually read your message.
Privacy questions, and requests to see, correct, export or delete your data: dasha@shejust.works.
The same company publishes a privacy policy of its own on shejust.works, covering every product it runs. Both pages apply: where they differ on a point, this page controls for bulaev.ai; where this page is silent, the company page fills the gap.
What I collect
Email address
Your email is your login (magic link or a sign-in provider). It is used for the weekly newsletter, account and billing messages, and occasional updates about new content. You can unsubscribe from anything that isn't a transactional message at any time.
Profile
Whatever you put on your profile — handle, name, headline, links — is yours to fill in, leave empty or delete. Profiles are shown to other signed-in members only when you switch them to public.
Billing
Payments are handled by Stripe. I never see or store your card number; I keep the subscription status, invoices and the country used for tax.
Basic analytics
I use analytics to understand how people use the site — page views, general location (country level) and device type. No advertising cookies, no fingerprinting, and nothing is sold on.
Analytics only runs if you agree to it. Nothing analytics-related loads until you accept, and if you decline, no analytics script runs and no analytics cookie is set at all. You can change your mind at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as agreeing was.
Separately from that choice, a session cookie keeps you signed in. That one is strictly necessary — without it the site cannot tell one signed-in person from another — so it is set without asking and only once you sign in. Signed out and having declined analytics, the site sets no cookies.
What I don't do
- Sell or share your data with third parties for marketing
- Use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, or fingerprinting
- Store sensitive personal information
- Send spam or share your email without consent
Third-party services
The site uses a few trusted services:
- Brevo — email delivery and list management (GDPR compliant)
- Stripe — payments, invoices and tax
- Cloudflare — hosting and security
- Google Analytics — aggregated usage statistics
Your rights and retention
You can request to see, update, export or delete any data I have about you — from your account, by writing to dasha@shejust.works, or by reaching out via any of my social channels. I'll respond within a few days, and in any case within 30 days.
When you delete your account, your profile, posts and personal data are removed from the live systems right away; copies can remain in backups for up to 30 days before they are overwritten. Financial records — invoices and the payment history Stripe holds — are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
