Newsletter

A planned weekly email about what actually shipped. It has not launched — no issue has been sent.

What it will be

A Monday email, written for people building their own AI setup rather than reading about one. Each issue will cover the same three things: what changed in the repos and skills, the threads from the feed worth your time, and the ideas that went into the database that week. No round-ups of other people's news.

It will be my own list rather than a platform's, and will come from news@bulaev.ai. My Substack at bulaev.net is a separate stream and stays where it is — subscribing to one will do nothing to the other.

One issue, three versions

When it launches, each issue will render in three versions:

  • Free

The digest: what shipped in the repos that week, the threads worth reading, and previews of the new ideas. Enough to follow along without paying.
  • Paid

The same issue with the blocks opened: the full idea cards behind the previews, the member posts the digest only teases, and the partner perk of the week.
  • Gold

Everything in Paid, plus a digest of the AMA thread for that week and what came out of the latest case review.

Each recipient will get one email, rendered for the tier they are on. Blocks above your level will be replaced by a short teaser rather than dropped, so you can see what you are missing and decide whether it is worth $39. Compare the tiers.

How you will opt in

Creating an account will not subscribe you. The newsletter is a separate choice you make yourself, in your account notification settings, and it is off until you make it. When the newsletter launches you will be able to switch it on there — and switch it off again in the same place, without leaving or losing the account.

Hearing about the first issue

There is no newsletter to subscribe to today, so this is not that. It is a launch list: leave an address and you get one message, when the first issue is actually going out and the switch above exists to flip. That one message is all that is sent to the address, and it carries an unsubscribe link — use it and the address comes off the list without ever being written to again.

One message when the newsletter starts. Not a subscription — that choice stays in your account.

Create free accountAccounts are not open yet either — when they are, the newsletter stays a separate, explicit choice inside one.

What you will control

  • Whether the newsletter is on at all, and at which frequency — weekly or important only.
  • Every issue will carry a one-click unsubscribe link that works without signing in, so you will be able to drop the newsletter and keep the account.
  • Billing email is the exception and is not part of this choice. Receipts and payment notices are not marketing.

Nothing has been sent yet

No issue has gone out, so there is no archive to browse and nothing is being mailed to anyone today — I would rather say that than show you an empty page pretending otherwise. The address you leave above sits on a list until there is a first issue; it does not start anything, and it is recorded as having been given for that and nothing else. Past issues will get their own pages once there are past issues. Until then, the changelog is the honest record of what has been built.

How your address will be handled is covered in the Privacy policy.
